A full stream of Chris Shiflett & The Dead Peasants’ new album All Hat   and No Cattle premiered on American   Songwriter. The new album will release on July 30 and includes nine classic   honkytonk covers and one original song.

The album is little country and a  little bit rock & roll telling stories of heartache, living fast and   continuing down that dusty road.

Led by veteran Foo Fighter Shiflett, The Dead Peasants are Jeff Gross, Luke Tierney, Mitch Marine, Marty Rifkin and   Derek Silverman. A new spirit flows through the classic songs. An album good   for a toe tap and nod to timeless lyrics, “I’m wanna live fast love hard, die young and leave a beautiful memory.”
