    From the Press Release:

Hometown heroes Kid Felix are hitting the road early in the New Year for a tour along the east coast, starting at their birthplace of Philadelphia. With their signature grunge sound, these stalwarts have developed a cultish following for their layered instrumentation and genuine rock n’ roll soul. Check ‘em out this winter as they cruise up and down New England, let their indie grooves warm you up!

I have to be honest, any time I hear of a band that promotes themselves by saying they “sound like Kings of Leon,” I become extremely skeptical. Not that I have anything against KOL really, just that I don’t like carbon copy bands. Kid Felix should advertise themselves as Indie-Grunge for the New Age. In other words, they might benefit from comparison, but don’t really need it. There is honesty, frankness, and excellent musicianship at work here, and should definitely be on your list to see this spring.

    Tour Dates:

Feb 7 – Hard Rock Cafe, Philadelphia – w/ Chill Moody and Hank McCoy

March 13th – The Saint, Asbury Park, NJ – w/ Deal Casino

March 14th – The Mercury Lounge, NYC – w/ Mother

March 15th – Dusk, Providence, RI – w/ Satellites Fall

March 16 – Radio Interview – 90.7 WXIN, Rhode Island

March 16th – TT The Bears, Boston, MA – w/ Satellites Fall
