BEAT CONNECTION ANNOUNCES JUNE TOUR DATES WITH JUNGLE

“SILVER SCREEN SLIGHT RETURN” FREE DOWNLOAD

    NEW SINGLE “HESITATION” STREAMING NOW

Beat Connection will support Jungle on an eight-date run of North American tour dates this month, beginning on June 6th at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, and wrapping up on June 19th at Union Transfer in Philadelphia, PA. The new dates add to the band’s previously announced upcoming tour schedule that includes a Los Angeles headline show as well as performances at the Capitol Hill Block Party in their hometown of Seattle, WA, and at the Austin City Limits Festival in Austin, TX, the weekend of October 10-12th. A current itinerary is below and more dates will be announced soon.

Last month, Beat Connection premiered new single “Hesitation” (https://soundcloud.com/beatconnexion/hesitation), which is the first new track released by the band since their 2012 debut album Palace Garden (Tender Age Records), via Consequence Of Sound. The band has also now released “Silver Screen Slight Return,” a reworking of their song “Silver Screen” off their 2010 debut EP, Surf Noir, as a free download available here: https://soundcloud.com/beatconnexion/silver-screen-slight-return.

“Like revisiting a former lover for just a night, here we are revisiting one of our first tracks, but with a bit more experience in the bedroom,” said Reed Juenger (synths, samples). “This is how we have been playing ‘Silver Screen’ live as of late, and we thought we would share it with you. Outs to those of you who stuck with us since this track came out.”

Initially formed as a duo to DJ house parties and underground art shows, Beat Connection self-released their Surf Noir EP as a free download in 2010. The EP garnered the band positive press from The Guardian (UK) and Pitchfork, and saw the band tour Europe and share the stage with notable artists including Toro y Moi and STRFKR. Palace Garden followed two years later and the band has since matured into its final form as today’s four piece indie-pop outfit made up of Tom Eddy (vocals, guitar), Mark Hunter (bass), Jarred Katz (drums) and Juenger (synths, samples). In the past couple years, Beat Connection have shared the stage with Washed Out, Holy Ghost! and ODESZA, and performed at the Bumbershoot and CHBP festivals.

obviously like your web site but you need to test the spelling on several of your posts.
A number of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very bothersome to
tell the truth then again I will surely come again again.
