Praise the muses. Erasure is back, as great as ever. Andy Bell’s voice has never been better, and Vince Clark shows his genius for dance grooves. As always, “Elevation” is a collaborative effort, but this time, Clark has written the music, and Bell has matched the perfect lyrics. Maybe it’s because the CD was recorded in Miami, but this is the hottest, sexiest track that’s been released in a long time. When this track is played, you can bet the dance floor will be completely packed. You can smell the adrenaline in the air when you hear this song. Unbelievable. Bell and Clark have never aged. They are still the best pop duo around. Save that next dance for me.
