What a band. Here we have one of those few bands where the lyrics are as important as the music. Kin Cayo delivers on both fronts. “Wrong Guy”, from their debut CD due in June, has both great hooks and tremendously great lyrics. With lines like
I’ll be your low grade antihero
Take all my fear so I can fly
I’ll be your low grade antihero
Man, I never ever knew my way before
and beautiful haunting harmonies and excellent musicianship and production, and you have a band that is not afraid to bare their souls in a beautiful way. Cannot wait for the whole debut.
