The Attic Ends formed in 2010 when Samantha Rex (lead vocals), Jan Christiansen (keyboard), Pete Hur (guitar) and Bob King (drums) met in New York and began writing music together. What a great day that was. The Attic Ends combines the vocals of Rex, who sounds a little like Hope Sandoval with the band, who sometimes sound a little like Radiohead, but completely different, if that makes sense. This is definitely an original, deep, brooding band. And the fact that this CD is recorded live, just adds to the intimacy and beauty of the songs. Give me more.
