As soon as “Maybe Tomorrow” starts, you know you’re in for a treat. From the poppy beat, the background vocals, and then that voice, that tremendously original voice, jumps in. This is the first track off her full-length debut album set to release Fall 2015. Tello recorded her debut album in NYC with producer Danny McBride and mentor Angelo “Doc” Velasquez (Mariah Carey, The Weeknd, Mary J Blige and Drake) of Out the Box Music Group/Universal Music Company. Tello has one foot in the world of pop like Carey and Blige, but with a sense of humor and a tremor to her voice that brings to mind Regina Spektor or Kate Nash. Here is one time the big production actually adds to the sound. I really love the fact the Anne Tello can belt a song like this. Good job.
