You get all the passion of Mike Ness with this sense of positiveness, maybe arising from the seven-month trek he talk from his native Scotland through India and Nepal, finding himself. And finding himself he has. His music is wonderfully country-tinged in that smoky barroom feel, while his song writing is smooth and intent, no wasted words, no unnecessary notes.
