    Ruby My Dear

    “Dirt”

Ruby My Dear was formed in 2012 when members Gabbi Coenen (vocals), Darren Denman (keys), Zack Hartmann (bass), Oscar Rodriguez (guitar) and Jay Rudolph (drums) met while studying at The New School for Jazz.  Their unique blend of atmospheric pop and jazz is reminiscent of Portishead and Mazzy Star, with Gabbi Coenen sounding more soulful and positive.  I love this band.  The blend of influences is so perfect.  In fact, this is perfect summertime music for you to ponder.
