    “New Colors”

Imagine Blood, Sweat, and Tears or Ides of March meets the sensibility of St. Vincent and you’ve got Kennan Moving Company.  What a voice, what a great mixture of horns, just a great all around jam.  As CMJ said (and I wish I thought of this one), Kennan Moving Company “make music … that is more suited for the couch plop down right after moving in all your junk”.  So true.  This is the music for you to unwind to but not fall asleep.  Also, “New Colors” is also a perfect radio song.  It would definitely not sound out of place on the radio in the mid 70’s, played right after “Vehicle” by Ides of March and before “And When I Die” by Blood, Sweat, and Tears, and that is a great thing.  We demand more.  Oh, and can you help me move?

Fabulous voice, brilliant track, this definitely needs more air time!
