And now for something completely different.  Elise Testone has one of those bluesy, funky voices that people wish they had, but generally do not.  Testone reminds me of a more rock-like Sade.  She has a great voice, the production on this song is flawless, and when the guitar kicks in during the chorus and Testone’s voice soars above it, I get those goosebumps I get when I hear genius like this.  She was a semifinalist on American Idol, and in my book, she should have won.  We are going to hear a lot from Testone.  She writes and arranges her own songs, and she always knows the best production for her work.  (You will NEVER hear me say this again, but thank you, American Idol, for bringing Testone to our attention.)
