As you know, dear readers, I am a sucker for a beautiful voice with lots of atmosphere behind it. Little Red Lung has those in spades. They remind me of Bat For Lashes without sounding like imataters. Zoe Ruth Erwin has a voice that encircles you, takes you on some sort of trip, and brings you back better off than before. In some strange way, Little Red Lung reminds me of Donovan or the best of the Paisley Revival. There is just enough of the psychedelic to be interesting, while Erwin’s voice actually keeps the music grounded. And when the music stops, then starts again, I swear my heart stopped. Wonderful.
