    WAKE THE SUN

What a hell of a band.  WAKE THE SUN have one of the hardest hitting sounds around.  This Long Island-based band kick ass.  From the beginning riffs (by the way, one of the greatest riffs ever – I’d love to steal it), to the song itself, to the very end (only complaint – it’s too damned short), this is a song that worms its way into your brain and will not come out, except maybe with your feet.  WAKE THE SUN has this great bluesy rock song that remind me of the Ramones meet the Dictators meet early Blue Oyster Cult.  This is a band that should go far.  Their live is guaranteed to blow you away.  I have the EP, and I’ve listened to it everyday, and it never gets tiresome.  LISTEN OR DIE.
