    “Bubbilicious”

I LOVE THIS BAND.  After releasing their last album, the band has graced us with an EP.  I am so excited.  I can’t believe it.  Everytime I listen to Tulips, I really miss the Riot Grrrrl era and those great noise bands like Babes in Toyland, Sleater-Kinney, and Bikini Kill.  The Tulips are in a room with a view (sorry, I had to) looking into the future.  The lineup is composed of Taleen Kali: vox/guitar; Angie Bloom: vox/guitar; Miles Faster: bass/vox; and Travis Moore: drüms.  As I said before, this is my favorite band of 2015.  Check them out.  For you from Kent in the 70’s, imagine a heavy version of the Bettys; everyone else, imagine an updated, kick ass version of the 5,6,7,8’s.  Anyway you slice them, the Tulips are the best in my personal favorite style of music.
