    Reverie

Skyler Cocco is such a wonderful singer and so beautiful in an innocent way, it always comes to as a shock when she releases her singles.  She is a perfect grunge artist, reminding a lot of Silversun Pickups without being derivative.  That’s what I really like about Cocco: she is so much her own person.  Although she’s been knocking around the music world for 12 years, it’s only since 2010 that she has been making her own music.  Cocco’s forthcoming record, Reverie, is filled with melodic grunge while also mixing elements of pop. I love Cocco.  Come to Pittsburgh.
