    “In Between”

    Spires

Spires is a great, artsy band composed of singer/guitarist Matt Stevenson and bassist/guitarist Jack Collins.  Their trippy, 70’s style music has swept NYC by storm, and with good reason.  Watch their video for “In Between” and you get a good idea of where their heads are.  I would have loved Spires if they were around in the 70’s.  I know what I would be doing if they were playing on the stereo.  Stevenson and Collins have crafted a style with its head in the 70’s and the rest of them in the 10’s.  If you don’t enjoy Spires, there is something wrong with you.
