    “Perfect Ten”

Remember when Wham! ruled the dance floor, when Real Life sang “Send Me An Angel”, when Scritti Politi could jammed out a song?  Well, Newtimers remember it well.  Andreas Britton Cavaco (vocals) and Tim Lundblad (drums, production) form the Stockholm-based duo. After writing hundreds songs for others and releasing miscellaneous projects under pseudonyms on both solo and collaborative ventures, Cavaco and Lundblad realized they were the perfect match to release their own music. Cavaco’s vocals are similar to that great range of George Michael when Wham! was fun.  Lundblad’s production and drums bring the beat up and to the forefront.  They are like a modern day Soft Cell without mining the same territory.  Newtimers’ dance music is so invectious; this is what we will be dancing to all winter into the spring and summer and beyond.  Just the kick dance music needed.
