Cigarettes After Sex make some of the best dream pop/slow rock ever. Imagine Mazzy Star or Portishead with a male singer. They are so laid back, but they have this tightness that needs to be heard to believe. CAS are compose of: Greg Gonzalez – guitar, vocals. Phillip Tubbs – synth. Randy Miller – bass. Jake Tomsky – drums. Originally from El Paso, the band is now located in NYC, of course. CAS call their music, slow motion, and that’s exactly what it is. Beautiful. Maybe not the music to play at the beginning of your party, but certainly the beautiful music you listen to when you are by yourself and relaxing. Cigarettes After Sex are definitely the band to relax to. Also, in a strange way, their music is very sexually charged.
