    “Nancy”

    The Hive Mind

What a great combination:  the dream pop of Mazzy Star with the guitar work of Jesus and Mary Chain.  Psychic Love describes their sound as grunge/dream.  Perfect description. Originally comprised of Laura Peters and Erick Jordan, Psychic Love is now: Laura Peters (vocals, guitar),  Max Harrison (guitar), Liam McCormack (bass), Salvatore Joseph (drums) and Neil Wogenson (keys). Peters has this voice that is heavenly, almost somnambulant combined with hard-rocking guitar chords and heavenly production.  Listen to Psychic Dreams.  Though sometimes Peters sounds asleep, she is very much aware, and when her emotions are released, she is unbelievably emotional and straight forward.  Psychic Love is setting up for February residency at the acclaimed Harvard & Stone in Hollywood.  If you’re out that way, check them out every Tuesday in February.  You won’t be sorry.

Admin – the “link” on Facebook leading to this site has the name of the band listed incorrectly as “Psychic Club”. Can this be corrected?

    2. Phil King on January 31, 2016 7:55 pm

      It is now corrected. Sorry
