    “Find Myself”

    Until My Body Breaks

Ever been in one of the those situations or relationships you know are bad for you, even actually killing you?  I have, and so has Olive Tiger, as she and her band so well demonstrate on their first single of their new album.  The group, which once consisted of up to 7 people, is now made up of Olive (vocals/guitar/cello/looper), Jesse Newman (violin) and Dane Scozzari (drums).  But the three of them make thick, moody, dark, true gothic music, and the first single, “Find Myself”, has me happy and deeply disturbed at the same time.  Olive Tiger might be one of the greatest things to happen to music since Courtney Barnett.  They do have a St. Vincent mood to them.  I love them so much.  Please come to Pittsburgh.  You sing right to me.
