Croatians would have voted yes even without that "propaganda". Why it's so hard to accept that many people still view EU as an improvement over their independent states? Do you really think EU can sway whole nations on its side by some leaflets and TV ads? The only important swaying factor here is the hope that EU can improve our financial situation, via better credit rating or via accession funds. Although EU is in deep financial crisis, it is still in better financial position than Croatia.

Once again, Mark Twain proves how smart (and timeless) his insights were:"“All Congresses and Parliaments have a kindly feeling for idiots, and a compassion for them, on account of personal experience and heredity.”“Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But then I repeat myself.”“Fleas can be taught nearly anything that a Congressman can.”"No citizen's assets are safe while Congress is in session."

Exactly. It’s amazing how people feel so strongly about restricting people’s access until it affects them or someone close to them. Then it’s a whole new ballgame. I just can’t imagine not letting people have a choice.

I told you before, but your Scribbletts are really amazing. Enough arse kissing already. You know I dig what your doing.
