Good Looking Friends consists of three members: Zach Fischer (vocals, guitar), Sean Nolan (bass, vocals) and Adam Rossi (drums). They first formed in 2011 in Western Massachusetts and then later moved to Brooklyn. While they might not be ‘good looking’, these guys have the ‘I don’t know what’. They might sound a little like Bright Eyes or Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, but they are different. The sparse percussion, the beautiful ringing guitars, the flowing bass line, all with those rough, worldly yet so innocent vocals over the top of all that. Combine them, and you get great poetry delivered in a delightful way. And when the guitar kicks in heavy, God, my heart frickin jumps. This is what makes summer music so great.
