Well, guys, just when you thought the Pixies were gone, here they are, back and mean and fun as ever. “Um Chagga Lagga” is the new song of their soon to be dropped album, Head Carrier, to be released, September 2016. The Pixies haven’t lost any of the angst, their fury, their talent, and Francis Black is still at the top of his game. With Paz Lenchantin replacing Kim Deal, and with David Lovering and Joey Santiago if the fold again, the Pixies are back with a vengeance. Black hasn’t lost any of his songwriting abilities, and he still knows how to rock out. If “Um Chagga Lagga is any clue to the the album, The Pixies are back, to close out the summer in true punk fashion. My God, we need you. Thank God, you are back. God bless the Pixies.
