Is this the summer of love?  Cool Ghouls will make you think it is, with the beautiful 12-string sound and harmonies galore, reminding you of The Byrds and Buffalo Springfield.  According to their press, “… this band’s purpose is not to reference, fetishize, or even celebrate these incarnations of rock’n’roll that came before them. Their intention is to animate their medium – bring to life the inanimate framework that is rock’n’roll. Get the kids dancing. Get the floor at the house party to cave in. Not to sound like a rock’n’roll band, but to do what a rock’n’roll band does. A band for playing rock’n’roll.”  This Cool Ghouls do with a passion.  They really love to play and it shows.  Their new album drops in August.  Pick it up; enjoy your summer with great rock ‘n’ roll.  This is the Summer of Love.
