What a great EP this is. Think of Mumford & Sons with a harder beat. Hailing from LA’s famous folk scene, The Wilder Society is comprised of Chris Molitor, René Cruz, David Powell, and Sean Cunningham. Within their EP which was just release, one can hear the voice of Johnny Cash and the Lumineers and Mumford & Sons with beautiful harmonies and stellar vocals that reach for the heavens over some of the best banjo plucking I’ve heard for a while. This is a great band, folks.
