    “These People”

    These People

I am happy again.  Richard Ashcroft, one of the most solid songwriters of all time, has a new album out.  These People is a beautiful, lush, tremendously performed and sung album.  Ashcroft is one of the most important and under-appreciated singer/songwriter in BritPop history.  Everyone remembers “Bittersweet Symphony”.  Well, the song, “These People”, is even more beautiful and lush with the same message:  People do not change, even if they try.  I LOVE Ashcroft.  Hopefully, this time the world will realize his great talent and songwriting/performing abilities.
