Another great dream pop band. Coming from New Jersey, AMFM is comprised of David Caruso (vocals, guitar), Harper James (guitar, synth, keys), Gian Stone (drums), Dan Shuman (bass) and Steve DeVito (guitar). The five-piece takes influence from Arcade Fire and Talking Heads, with collective musical backgrounds in many different genres — including rock, country, jazz and electronica. I believe that AMFM is a wonderful new sound that is so perfect, so much what we need right now. I am so excited about their self-titled EP dropping soon. Their first single, “Broom”, is very Headish in sound and lyrics, but still has enough of a difference to be completely new. Listen and enjoy.
