    IMAGIST

    “Lose My Faith”

IMAGIST, the alter-ego of Mike McKeever, resident of Anti-Reality, has dropped a wonderful electronic/dance track that will get you up and singing the blues away.  “Lose My Faith” is about a subject we all know and understand:  that relationship that is terrible for you but you can’t quit because it’s like a drug, and the high is so vital and wild and intense that the down is almost worth it (world, read Eric here).  I have placed the lyrics here.  This is a song that really understands the basis of all bad relationships.

Every time I see you coming round here I lose my faith
hanging around, follow you down, making the same mistakes

Every time i see you coming round here we get lost for days
miles go by, though we still try, we end in the usual place,
    then it all breaks

Tell me who can know the sides we never show?
Tell me who can know? we still won’t let it go

Every time I see you coming round here I lose my faith
then we crash out, closing it down, we know it’s not just a phase

Every time I see you coming round here we get lost for days
hours go by, forget about time, ghosting without a trace,
    then it all breaks

Tell me who can know the sides we never show?
Tell me who can know? we still won’t let it go

Every time i see you coming round here I lose my faith
