At first Drakkar Nowhere’s “The Line” sounds like a traditional psych-rock song but quickly diverges into another world with full of rich, lush, Martian-atmospheric sounds. The song fades out with a flute and a spacey-synth that almost sounds like a Bee Gees/Jethro Tull collaboration. However, these boys stay true to a very unique sound that they worked hard to develop and that is very apparent on this single. Check it out below:

The duo is not new to the music scene having come from the New York-based Phenomenal Handclap Band (bandleader/keyboardist/producer Daniel Collás and vocalist/guitarist Morgan Phalen). Daniel and Morgan found themselves creating new music in the kitchen of a rented apartment in Stockholm, Sweden.
