Phantogram is dropping a new album in October. Thank God. On their new song, “Same Old Blues”, they bring their gospel back to the world. Coming from Saratoga Springs, NY, Joshua Carter and Sarah Barthel have been together since 2007. Barthel has one of those amazing voices, and she and Carter have created music that is heavenly yet earthy at the same time. They really shine on their new album, Three. In my book, this should be their break through. Without compromising anything, but still being accessible, this is tremendous.
