Amazing. Guys, this is the same band that did that great cover of “Sounds of Silence” earlier this year. Now, they’re back with a great new single in which they sound similar to early Genesis, that eerie, homey sound like “Supper’s Ready” and “For Absent Friends”. The trio consists of Izzy Gliksberg (vocals, piano, guitar), Sam Nester (trumpet, keyboard) and Joe Peri (drums, percussion). Coming from all different corners of the world, Gliksberg from Israel, Nester from Australia and Peri from the States, the three met while studying at the Manhattan School of Music and came together to form Late Sea. They are an unbelievably intense and original band, really without par. I love these guys.
