Australia’s premier psychedelic rock band Jagwar Ma played NYC’s Webster Hall on November 12th, 2016 in front of an incredible enthusiastic audience. Members, Gabriel Winterfield, Jono Ma, and Jack Freeman ran through an 11 heavy-bass, bombastic, and stratospheric set list, which featured an even split of songs from Howlin and their latest release Every Now And Then.

The boys incredible studio techniques transcribed beautifully in the dance hall at Webster. At times it was unmistakable from the record and then they’d throw a zinger and jam out like Grateful Dead–often changing vocal techniques, chords, riffs, etc. One thing that was certain, the entire room was moving and dancing. The crowd sang along to the lyrics of the new songs as much as they did the old songs. The energy was incredibly magnetic and trust me when I say, there wasn’t one bathroom break song!
