LA-based alternative rock band, Miklo, has dropped the first single from their EP, Note To Self, which is chock full of riffs and melodies. Considering the somberness of the lyrics, the music is very uplift. Maybe this is how one feels when losing one’s mind. (I know I feel that way). Miklo is comprised of Kyle Setter (vocals), Chris Garcia (guitar) and Pablo Garcia (drums). “I’ve got doubt fear and shame calling my name/ I hear voices/ They all sound the same” is just part of the great lyrics. This really is a beautiful song dealing with a huge problem: DEPRESSION. I’m impressed that a band can make you feel better about depression. It takes a great band to pull that off, and Miklo is a great band.
