Like Water
There is something amazingly fluid about Magic Island. Though the title of the album is Like Water, it could have as easily be named Like Mercury, for it is mercurial in its very nature. Magic Island is based in Berlin, where her beautiful electronic pop does take you away to some special place far from this plane. Magic Island lives in a dark place, where here beautiful voice propels you to a land of darkness. I really like the place Magic Island takes me. She has that Bjork/Kate Bush view, put even darker if that is possible.
