Steve Hackett was always my favorite part of early Genesis. He has always known when to play and what to play, never drowning out the vocalist but complementing always. His guitar work is superb, and it’s wonderful that he is still as wonderful as possible. If you have never heard Genesis prior to And Then There Were Three…, you are in for a treat. Hackett’s new album takes you back to the golden era but still modern.
