    Come On In

What tremendous music.  The guitar alone is worth the price of admission.  Cody Parnell, the main member of Blve Hills, comes from Ottawa.  He calls the music Grunge Psyche, or the music your dad listened to in your grandmother’s garage (where she was always yelling, turn that shit down).  I love Blve Hills.  Listening to the new single of the EP, Come On In, you’ll think you’re listening to one of the lost jewels on the Nuggets or Pebbles collection of ’60’s garage rock.  That is true.  Blve Hills takes the sound of the Seeds, or Balloon Club, or The Sonics, adds a lot of Jesus and Mary Chain feedback and you get this great slab of delicious grunge.  WOW.
