Life will never be hopeless as long as Blonde Redhead puts out records. This is one of my favorite bands of all time. If you’ve never listened to Blonde Redhead, you are missing out on one of the best Dream Pop bands ever. Their music is so atmospheric, and, what is best, they have never sounded better. Being comprised of Japanese Kazu Makino and twin Italian-Americans Amedeo and Simone Pace, they have gone from Noise Punk (which they were great at) to Dream Pop, where they just might be the best. Makino’s voice is plaintive yet world-weary at the same time. This is one of the best EP’s released this year. Wow, I LOVE Blonde Redhead.
