Heart On The Sleeve: Brett Gleason – “Expiration Date”

    Brett Gleason

    “Expiration Date”

    Manifest

Brett Gleason is a genius and the most in-touch person I have ever heard.  He actually wears his heart on his sleeve.  He is so sensitive yet tough, his voice is amazingly rich with emotion, his piano playing is so unique and passionately (it makes you think of Tori Amos).  If you’ve ever seen “The Magicians” or read Lev Grossman’s book, you will understand when I say Gleason is a more self-assured Quentin.  I love his music.  He has never compromised.  His music is what he is:  beautiful, deep, sexy, insecurity and security at once, just listen.  He really is the great undiscovered.
