New Zealand Rock: Cairo Knife Fight – “A Six”

What a band.  This duo from New Zealand is so powerful.  Comprised of drummer/vocalist Nick Gaffaney and guitarist George Pajon, Jr., this duo makes more noise, and great noise at that, than most quartets or quintets.  And when Gaffaney hits that high note, Christ, it sounds like Ian Gilliam is 25 again.  I love this band.  This is what hard rock should sound like.  Now based in LA, they are often on the SXSW best of list.  No doubt they really deserve it.  And their video is tremendous.  Also, there is more music inside this short song than in most five or six minute songs by most artists.  Yeah, this is hard rock as it should be.
