    Grizzly Bear

    “Mourning Sound”

    Painted Ruins

After being teased since early July, Grizzly Bear has dropped their new album, and it is wonderful.  This might be the best album (next to Lorde and TORRES) released this year.  Grizzly Bear has always made always perfect music.  Now, I think they have just about reached perfection.  This is an album I will be listening to for a long time to come, over and over.   Chris Bear,  Ed Droste, Daniel Rossen, and  Chris Taylor, the boys from Brooklyn, are just so musically accomplished, writing perfect pop songs.  If you’ve never been mauled by Grizzly Bear, now is the time.
