Genesis Storytelling: Noam Hassenfeld – “Rip It Up”

    Noam Hassenfeld

    “Rip It Up”

    The Past

Noam Hassenfeld has released a great EP based on the book of Genesis, a very bold and outrageous enterprise, but Hassenfeld pulls it off with wit, rhythm, beauty, and majesty.  Hassenfeld has made beautiful records with his band, Three Thousand Rivers, but I believe he has outstripped the beauty of that work with this EP.  Coming from Brooklyn, Hassenfeld’s music needs to be heard to appreciate.  When you tackle Biblical themes, it can be really tough to avoid getting too preachy, but still get the stories out there.  Hassenfeld does this.  His music is catchy and his voice astonishing.  Catch this artist.  Get a little Biblical history.  Enjoy it.  I certainly do.
