Mindy Juice is a Versatile Artist

Mindy Juice is a versatile artist who has been influenced by the 80’s, 90’s and contemporary music. She is hard to pinpoint as an artist exactly but she has the appeal that will draw old heads and the newer generation alike. She is currently working on two projects. One is a mixtape called Something Contagious and The Rough Draft EP. A multi talented artist who produces, engineers, and writes her own music.

When did you develop a passion for music?

I always had a passion for music, I joined the school choir and church choir at the age of 6 but I guess I can say it really came out of me when I started high school.

Where did you grow up and how did it influence you as an artist?

I grew up in Brooklyn, NY. I moved around a lot and gained a lot of different styles and sounds to use when it comes to music but I always ended right back in Brooklyn. I currently live in Ocala, Florida but frequently make trips every 3-6 months back to my hometown to work on projects with my friends/group Words Of The Wise. It was hard for my family because my mom was a single mother with two jobs taking care of my brother, grandmother and I. But once I got older I started working and trying to help out around the house. One advantage about where I grew up would be the people who surrounded me and the culture. New York is known for its historic background with hip hop and I feel like because I grew up there it molded me into the artist I am today.

Who are some of your frequent collaborators and who is someone you would like to work with in the future?

I have worked with Ceddyjay but in our younger years, nothing thats actually out. I have worked with the God of Sound. I’m currently working with Raww The Gemini and G-Man Productions. In the future I want to work with an artist named Lamique but only time can tell.

    Whats next in your career?

The next thing for my career is to put a lot of work and effort into getting my name known across the 50 states and then to expand into the worldwide market. I just want to perform a lot and make my fanbase grow into what I know it can be and also work with a lot of the new generation rappers and the OG’s of hip hop.
