What a killer band. Who said girls can’t rock? These girls can rock. Fuck, let’s quit calling them girls, these are rockers, no doubt. You take Suzi Quatro, add the Runaways, some Zeppelin and Thor’s Hammer, you get Thunderpussy. They pull no punches. Their bio says it best:
The quartet—Molly Sides [vocals], Whitney Petty [guitar], Leah Julius [bass], and Ruby Dunphy [drums]—do the most rock ‘n’ roll thing possible and quite literally fuck up every rock ‘n’ roll stereotype you know to be true, piercing the halls of Valhalla in the process.
It ain’t know boys’ club. Rock n roll takes balls, and Thunderpussy has it. Remember, they told Janis to behave and she didn’t. Neither will Thunderpussy. They are such a kick ass band. I love this band.
