I love Lowland Hum. The duo of Daniel Levi Goans and Lauren Plank Goans always strike the right chord, and their selection of Christmas songs are just perfect. On “Joy To The World”, they convert the song to an almost melancholy take, as if they know, the angels know, the Baby Jesus, all know what is going to happen, and also that the world is not a joyful place. I love this song. It is so beautiful. The minimal acoustic music from Charlottesville, Virginia, husband-wife team always has a perfect touch for their music. Everything they do is beautiful. They don’t try and be depressing; they are just trying to make you think. Make us think while we enjoy the holidays. Thank you.
