Band With Heart: Foreign Figures – “Heart Of Gold”

    Foreign Figures

    “Heart Of Gold”

    Overzealous

This alt-pop band from Utah has the hooks, the looks, the sound, the lyrics to be big stars.  Formed by brothers Steve (drums) and Eric (vocals/piano) Michels, the two were introduced to Seth Dunshee (bass) through a mutual friend.  Over the course of a few years, they re-invented their sound and upon meeting Jonny Tanner (guitar), they officially became Foreign Figures in 2014.  Since then, they have tour like mad and honing their trade.  They really have become excellent.  “Heart Of Gold” is a very catchy, honest take on love, especially the importance of honesty.  I truly think this band is one to watch.
