Layered Pearl-like Music: Hakobune – “erode”

This is totally beautiful ambient electronica from Hakobune AKA Takahiro Yorifuji.  Yorifuji uses layers of guitar to create the sonic landscapes. Yorifuji is from a small town in Hyogo, Japan and currently resides in Tokyo.  His layers of sound are like the creation of a pearl; bit by bit added up to a beautiful whole, with the pain and effort that the clam shows.  Before making his beautiful ambient music, Yorifuji cut his teeth with Whale, a Japanese noisecore band.  I have always said the ambience and noise are two sides of the same coin.  Listen to this beautiful track.  Get lost in the sound.  Relax.
