“What Will” (with The Brite Lites)

José González & The Brite Lites At Svenska Grammofonstudion

He’s back, and he’s better than ever.  There is no one who sounds like Sweden’s José González.  One, he picks a guitar so quickly but with substance not flash.  Two, his voice is delightfully gruff but melodic.  Three, his song lyrics are so personal yet we can all identify with his words.  He is probably one of the greatest singer/songwriters around today.  And performing with The Brite Lites just helps him shine.  This is one of the best albums of what seems is going to be a great musical year.  Thank you so much.

Below, José González talks about “What Will”:

    What Will
What will our legacy be? Humanity is at a special moment in time when most of us are living with amazing prosperity, and with increasingly powerful tools compared to other times. Still we’re sort of stuck with our tribal psychology, which makes us experts in making a difference between us and them.
