With riffs and rhythm galore and vocals that come out of those shots of whiskey from late nights, YOFL is just the best new heavy metal/blues rock band out their. Comprised of Scot McGiveron, Fred Serrell, Peter Hellers, and Raeshawn Greene, these guys sing about the shit that happens to all of us: bad luck, bad romance, bad companionship, the pure shit that piles up. Get rid of it. Let that plague called Year Of The Locust clear out that crap. I love this band. Hailing from NYC, Washington Dc, and West “By God” Virginia, the band’s sound has come into its own under the watchful eye of producer/guitarist Brain Bonds. This is the band to see this year.
