Another amazing song off of Anna von Hausswolff, “The Truth, The Glow, The Fall” takes a while to get going, but when von Hausswolff starts playing the organ, and then starts singing, all bets are off. This is an amazingly dark song, more like Burzum and Death Metal than the usual fare. It is stunningly beautiful, building up like Ravel’s Bolero until its killer ending. von Hausswolff is the master of the dramatic. I love her. Amazing artist who is unique in every sense of the world.
