    Juliana Hatfield Sings Olivia-Newton John

Amazing.  Only the great Juliana Hatfield could pull off a sweet but ass-kicking tribute to Olivia Newton-John, who has always needed the recognition for being a great singer and songwriter.  Although Newton-John didn’t write this particular song, her interpretation has always been underappreciated.  Thank God, Hatfield has taken her seriously and just upped the ante a little instead of completely redoing them.  This is a great song, both the original and Hatfield’s take on it.  (Oh, by the way, wait until you hear her do “Physical”; it will knock it out.)  Hatfield has always been one of my heroes.  Now, Juliana, it’s time to release a new original album.
